A Weekend in Laguna Beach

Ashley Brooke Nicholas joined fellow bloggers Mash Elle and Diary of a Debutante on their west coast "girls weekend" trip from Florida - while all were in town for the GenBeauty Conference in LA. However, the Pacific Edge Hotel was definitely their DESTINATION! 

As Ashley states on her blog, "The Pacific Edge Hotel has a relaxed, beachy vibe the screams California cool. Our room's orange walls, driftwood headboards and surf-inspired photography provided the perfect background for a weekend getaway to the beach. As much as I love the design of the hotel, nothing beats an uninterrupted view of Laguna Beach."  

All three gals were very impressed with Driftwood Kitchen..and we can't say we blame them! Ashley states, "The view from Driftwood Kitchen is my idea of heaven, and their food and decor are FLAWLESS."

Mash Elle's Vitamin Sea

Michelle will never forget the first time she fell in love with California. While it may have been after a breakup, she had the experience many of us do along the Pacific Coast.

"Overlooking the skyline in Laguna beach, a wave of emotion splashed over me. My lungs filled with life for the first time in (what felt like) forever - and I instantly felt reborn. Reborn with a realization that I needed to let go and move forward into a new chapter of my life. As soon as I returned home, I chronicled my SoCal adventures -- and thus Mash Elle was born."

How fabulous that Michelle began her blogging career after the inspiration of the West Coast surf... her "vitamin sea" as she eloquently details.

Joining fellow online beauty and style blogger friends, Diary of a Debutante and Ashley Brooke for a hosted weekend at the Pacific Edge Hotel, the girls took in everything fabulous that our hotel and Laguna Beach offers before heading up to LA to their conference.

Cupcakes & Cutlery Day at the Beach

Who doesn't LOVE a day at the Beach? Cupcakes & Cutlery joined us for a "daycation" to take in the Pacific Edge Hotel experience! 

Here's what Sharon had to say about the photo above: "This rad view is what you will see off your private patio in front of your private bungalow. What is a bungalow exactly? It’s like your own private living room only a few feet from the ocean!"  - We love this quote! The bungalows are exactly that! 

Cupcakes & Cutlery took some amazing photos during their stay! We can tell Sharon and her kids had a wonderful time enjoying the Pacific Coast and the luxury amenities that PEH offers to our Bungalow guests.

In just one day - you can feel like a VIP. Sharon mentioned that although they live only 20 miles away from the beach, it can be hard to schlep all your stuff to the beach with kids - which is the burden PEH takes away! We have everything you need for a daycation right here on site and the staff to take care of your every need!

Popsicle Blog at the Bungalows

The Popsicle Bloggers took a bite out of the Bungalows!! Jill Parkin, the mom behind Popsicle Blog - Sandy Toes and Popsicles brought her three boys for a daycation at the Pacific Edge Hotel. Clearly these guys had a blast - hanging out in our Bungalows, dining on The Deck and enjoying fun in the sun on the beach! 

Jill, who's spent time at PEH before, took in this new experience of the Bungalow life and got to rest and relax in our stylized beachfront Bungalows - which gives guests a home base to enjoy the beach with VIP service and attendants taking care of your every "daycation" need.

"Daycation" Stay with Let's Play OC

There's no question that the Pacific Edge Hotel is the ultimate beachfront spot to DAYCATION! If that's a new word in your book, there's no need to look it up. Our favorite bloggers covered their day-stays in our Beach Bungalows for a bit of fun-in-the-sun!

Let's Play OC had a lovely afternoon hanging in both the Gorjana & Griffin and the Sailor Jerry Bungalows, which are available from 11am-8pm daily (based on availability). The Deck served up a tasty tray of meats & cheese and provided lunch to our guests on the patio so they could take in the fresh ocean air with the best view of the Pacific Coast. Of course, Let's Play OC had to take advantage of the beach access and our hospitality team set them up with chairs, umbrellas and towels in the sand. 

This is what a DAYCATION is all about -- living it up like it's a vacation, all in a day's work!
